BRANDING | PACKAGING
Seabreeze Brewing Co. are a small independent craft brewery based in Perth, Western Australia. Granddog worked with the brewers to develop the packaging for their first release of a Pale, a Summer and an Oz Ale. The challenge was to present a range of labels that was instantly recognisable in terms of the overall brand look, however different enough for customers to distinguish one beer style from another. This was achieved by creating a consistent wave pattern across the bottom half of the can in a striking metallic colour for each variant. To create a linking brand message we used the line "Taste the Breeze" across the neck of the can and tied in the copy description of each beer to the personality of the beer style. Cheers!

Perfect Break are producers of Organic Wines, based in Margaret River. Drawing inspiration from the wine makers passion for surfing and also an activity synonymous with the region, we developed a label that was very unique in terms of the die cut, to emphasize the breaking wave.
Cupcakes for Lucy

Cupcakes For Lucy are an exclusively Gluten free baker based in Perth, Western Australia. They approached granddog to rebrand their business as they were looking to break into the commercial retail market and needed to give their existing logo a facelift and also develop a range of packaging, suitable for a range of products different in sizes and quantities... Challenge accepted! We were of course also treated to delicious samples... all in the name of research... of course! To create an upmarket and exclusive brand we developed the brand utilising a custom script logo font and then using a palette of gold, black and white. To inject a bit of Eddie, the Owner's dry sense of humour, we crafted some cheeky one liners for the packaging. The packaging itself was pared back to a minimalist look in order to show off the products.
My Balance - Essentials by Nature

My Balance is an Aromatherapy Remedial Massage studio located on Bunbury’s beautiful Marlston waterfront. Experience fragrance and the healing touch of massage. My Balance Massage uses specialised remedial, myofascial release and relaxation massage techniques with therapeutic grade essential oils, to work deep into all of your body systems. They tasked granddog with refreshing their logo to better reflect their waterfront location as well as developing the packaging for their extensive range of Essential oils. Cass, the owner, was ecstatic with the result for both the logo and packaging design.
